What this site collects

This site collects standard web analytics data including page views, referrer URLs, browser and device type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address at the city or region level. Specific interactions logged include clicks on configuration links, referral code copies, outbound clicks to rivian.com, and scroll engagement.

This site also uses session recording, which captures how visitors interact with pages — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and navigation between pages. Recordings are used to understand where the site is confusing or where readers get stuck. They are not reviewed on an individual basis for any purpose beyond improving the site.

What this site does not collect

This site does not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any other personally identifying information except when you voluntarily email rick@rivianincentives.com. There are no forms, no account creation, and no newsletter signup. The site does not run advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not share data with third parties beyond the analytics infrastructure described below.

Third-party services

Vercel provides hosting for this site and processes standard server request data.

PostHogprovides product analytics and session recording. PostHog processes the event and interaction data described above on this site's behalf.

When you click a “Configure with code” link, you are taken to rivian.com, which operates under its own privacy policy. This site has no visibility into what you do there, and does not receive information about whether you place an order.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets cookies through PostHog to distinguish returning visitors from new ones and to associate events within a single session. These are first-party analytics cookies. This site does not set advertising cookies and does not participate in cross-site tracking networks.

You can block or clear these cookies through your browser settings, or use your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, at no loss of site functionality — nothing on this site requires analytics to work.

Your rights and choices

If you are a resident of Colorado, California, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with applicable data privacy laws, you have the right to request information about the data collected about you, request its deletion, and opt out of its collection. To exercise any of these rights, email rick@rivianincentives.com and the request will be honored within 30 days.

Because this site collects no directly identifying information beyond voluntary email contact, fulfilling a deletion request generally means removing analytics records associated with your device identifier. Blocking cookies in your browser prevents collection prospectively without needing to contact anyone.

Affiliate disclosure

When you use referral code RICK4348389 on a new Rivian R1S or R1T order, both the buyer and the referrer (Rick) earn Rivian Rewards points from Rivian. There is no cost to you and no impact on your vehicle price. This referral program is how the site is funded. There is no advertising and there are no third-party affiliate links. Changes to this policy

If the analytics tooling or data practices on this site change, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date above revised. That date reflects the last substantive change to this policy, not the date the page was loaded.
